The most important aim of fermentation is to break down certain feed components into small fragments before feeding. Thanks to pre-digestion, the animal has to expend less energy on the actual digestive work. Fermented feed is very palatable. Fermentation increases the digestibility of the feed. Fermented feed mixtures remain homogeneous for longer. The nutrient fluctuations in the feed mash are reduced.

The feeding system is made of stainless steel and is used for problem-free and loss-free feeding of dry and liquid feeding systems.
The conical shape of the hopper ensures that the feed does not slip down. Residual quantities are removed first. A "sword" rotates slowly on the base of the appliance, which pushes the feed to the outlet in slices.
The stainless steel augers run in the PVC pipe and are adapted to the given conditions. Several augers can also be used to transport around corners.
The polyester silos are made of glass fibre-reinforced polyester. Smooth-walled inner surfaces ensure problem-free discharge of both granular and floury products.
The silos each have a filling pipe, a vent pipe and an outlet funnel for screw connection.

The high-strength fabric silos ("Trevira silos") are breathable and uncoated, they ensure constant feed quality without mould formation and without caking.
There is a wide range of silo designs in which the size, outlet diameter, emergency outlet and additional filter are adapted to the respective requirements.

When feeding feed silos, theAirCleaner prevents contamination of the exhaust air from the silos. By filtering the exhaust air, the volatile dust particles are captured and conveyed to the feeding technology via augers.
