Fermentation

The most important aim of fermentation is to break down certain feed components into small fragments before feeding. Thanks to pre-digestion, the animal has to expend less energy on the actual digestive work. Fermented feed is very palatable. Fermentation increases the digestibility of the feed. Fermented feed mixtures remain homogeneous for longer. The nutrient fluctuations in the feed mash are reduced.

Independent fermentation plant

Our fermentation systems can be combined with any third-party system. The ferment is prepared independently in two or more fermenters. The fermentation time can be adjusted depending on time or pH value. The system makes the ferment that has been ready the longest available for pumping out. Automatic changeover to the next full and finished fermenter when the fermenter is empty.

Valve interlocking of feeder and extraction valve when fermentation is still unfinished. Automatic cleaning and emptying when the fermenter is empty.

Expansion of existing Krebeck plants: Combined feeding with fermentation in weighed fermenters

The fermentation function can be added to existing C400 feeding computers (from year of manufacture 2010). Existing mixing tanks can be used for fermentation preparation and application, as can the available pumps and augers.
