Check weigher with plate distributor

A checkweigher is used to monitor the weight tolerances of weighed products, e.g. plastic trays filled with blueberries. It consists of two conveyor belts: the first regulates the infeed of the products and their transfer to the second belt, which is designed as a weighing belt. Immediately downstream of the check-weigher is a selection belt. Controlled by the check-weigher, the trays with the desired weight are forwarded directly to downstream components on the selection belt with the aid of a diverter, while overweight and underweight products are shifted to lateral units such as buffer tables, conveyors, etc.

Plate distributor

The panel distributor is used in conjunction with a check-weigher to distribute the inspected products to separate, downstream conveyor belts. This distribution is controlled by the check weigher depending on the specified weight ranges.

For example, underweight and overweight trays can be pushed onto a correction belt, while products with a target weight can be forwarded in a straight line.

The tray distributor is available in a narrow version with division into two lanes and in a wider version for deflection onto three lanes.
