If the berries are only slightly soiled, the use of a cleaning belt is sufficient.
For heavier soiling, a cleaning unit can be used, which separates the dirt from the berries with the help of a blower. This is fitted below the bar mesh belt and leaves, stems and other impurities are blown through an exhaust duct into a collection box.
The berries are fed in either manually or via a feed belt.
The cleaning unit with blower can optionally be equipped with an inclinable selection belt, which picks up the berries after the cleaning process. The inclination of the belt causes good quality berries to roll down onto a conveyor belt, while lower quality berries remain on the conveyor belt and fall into the containers provided at the end. Belt speed and inclination are adjustable.
